Five members of our lab attended the 20th Annual Metabolomics Society Conference, 2024, in Osaka, Japan and presented our routine metabolomics work in respiratory and reproductive diseases
APT 2025, IIT Bombay
Anindita Bhattacharya presented her research on lipidomics in lung cancer subtypes and received recognition for her outstanding work, earning the Best Poster Award – 2nd Runners-Up. Palash Paul showcased his comprehensive study on metabolomics in interstitial lung diseases
IEEE EMBC 2025, Denmark
Sumana Halder presented a poster on the effect of acoustic parameters on novel bioderived protein microbubbles at the 47th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society at Copenhagen, Denmark.
Pulmocon 2025, IPCR, Kolkata
Two of our lab members, Palash Paul and Pragya Dey, presented our ongoing work on Silicosis and Interstitial Lung Diseases in Pulmocon, 2025, organized by IPCR, Kolkata. They ranked first and second in the Poster Presentation category and recieved the award from one of the top pulmonologists in India, Dr. Parthasarathi Bhattacharya.
IEEE UPWIECON 2025, NIELIT Uttarakhand
Our team presented two research posters at UPWIECON 2025 conference held at NIELIT Dehradun. Imon Mitra showcased her work on discriminating adenomyosis and endometriosis based on ATR-FTIR spectral peaks. Palash Paul presented his work on development of an advanced classification machine learning model for interstitial lung diseases.
ISSRF 2026, BHU, Varanasi
Ms. Bishnupriya Saha, has been awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award at the Global Summit on Innovations in Reproductive Biology: Emerging Frontiers and Discoveries (GSIRB) & 36th Annual Meeting of the Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility (ISSRF 2026), organized by the Department of Zoology, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India, held from 20th to 22nd February 2026.
IIT Kharagpur 70th Convocation
A proud moment for our lab as six students graduated during the IIT Kharagpur 70th Convocation. The ceremony marked their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence, celebrated together with mentors and lab members as they embark on the next chapter of their careers.
